Job summary To join the 18 RTT Team as an18 Week Referral to Treatment (RTT) Validation Officer within the Information Services department, responsible for the comprehensive validation of inpatient and outpatient pathways in support of the RTT waiting times and maintenance of data quality. Main duties of the job The role involves the detailed validation of patient care pathways in line with the national waiting times policy and the national 18-week guidelines. The successful applicant must be able to work under pressure dealing with high volumes of data validation ensuring that all relevant data is accurately recorded and updated on the Trust Patient Admin System. You will be required to work independently but part of a team to prioritise workloads in support of weekly and monthly reporting deadlines always maintaining confidentiality. You will be responsible in monitoring data quality and liaising with departments on data quality issues and where appropriate provide support and guidance in the development and implementation of education and training programmes to ensure the successful delivery of the service and prevent issues reoccurring. It is essential that applicants are educated to GCSE levels A-C in Mathematics and English or equivalent with experience of operating IT systems including Microsoft Office, Emails and/or other dedicated software.
