Agency Payments Analyst

We're seeking a talented Agency Payments Analyst to join our team, providing excellent service to internal and external customers and intermediaries in respect of investigation and processing, ensuring all regulatory requirements are adhered to.
Key Responsibilities:
* Monitor and record payments of commission to all sales channels, ensuring timely payment and statement issuance.
* Prepare, allocate, and reconcile procuration fee payments made into the L&G Mortgage Club accurately and efficiently.
* Investigate and process all control reports that identify potential problems with commission or agency records, highlighting manual errors or system anomalies.
* Perform a range of administrative functions within the Commission Payments systems, ensuring regular maintenance and reviews are carried out.
* Understand, resolve, and respond to all referred Commission and procuration fee queries within agreed SLAs, projecting a professional customer care approach and excellent service to all Legal & General intermediaries.
* Provide full support to the front office Agency Enquires Team, covering the telephone helpline and dealing with all commission-related queries.
* Act as a positive role model and mentor to others in the team, consistently completing the role to the best ability, sharing knowledge, coaching, and guiding junior members of the team.
Requirements:
* Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to respond and react to customers appropriately, building a rapport and satisfying customer needs.
* Effective planning and ability to prioritise, taking full ownership of given tasks and responsibilities to ensure targets are consistently achieved.
* Strong analytical skills, displaying a high level of accuracy and attention to detail at all times.
* Good risk awareness.
* Knowledge of the Independent Financial Advisor market is desirable.
* Good desktop skills around Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
