The North East is undergoing a period of significant regeneration and housing growth, and we are seeking a dynamic, strategic leader to drive this transformation. As Head of Housing and Regeneration, you will shape and deliver ambitious plans to create thriving, sustainable communities, attract investment, and tackle housing challenges head-on.
Reporting directly to the Director, you will lead on housing strategy, regeneration projects, and place-making initiatives, working with government, developers, and stakeholders to unlock opportunities and drive long-term prosperity.
What You’ll Do:
Develop and implement a bold housing and regeneration strategy that meets the needs of the region.
Drive major regeneration projects, ensuring high-quality, sustainable development.
Work closely with developers, housing providers, and government agencies to unlock funding and investment.
Lead on affordable housing, infrastructure, and place-making initiatives to create vibrant communities.
Oversee policy development, data analysis, and strategic planning to ensure evidence-based decision-making.
Champion the North East’s housing and regeneration agenda at regional, national, and international levels.
