Are you a Project Manager with a love for design, and exquisite prime residential architecture in the countryside?
We are working with a real estate development, investment, and management company based in London and Hampshire, delivering on hundreds of super prime residential homes- whether major projects or private commissions.
Due to the uptake of work in the countryside, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager to support construction projects across the Surrey, Hampshire, and Oxfordshire areas
General Responsibilities
* Ensure efficient communication and information flow between the project team
* Prepare and issue regular reports to stakeholders
* Monitor the performance of the project team
Construction
* Manage and monitor the development of the design and project coordination during the construction stage
* Coordinate and manage the approval of construction information between stakeholders
* Provide solutions to site issues and manage contract administration activities
* Monitor and manage project progress, including design, program, cost, and statutory requirements
Pre-Construction
* Prepare a Project Execution Plan, including:
* Establish a Consultant Procurement process, including drafting Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and managing their return and assessment
Project Coordination / Design Management
* Manage the development and coordination of the design up to tender stage
* Ensure that all project information is fully coordinated and meets the client's requirements
Finance & Timeline
* Produce an outline project budget and program
* Manage and update the program and cost plan with the support of the project team
Procurement & Contract Administration
* Prepare a procurement strategy and advise on tendering and contractual options
* Manage and coordinate the tender process
* Prepare and issue recommendations for contract awards
Tender
* Manage and coordinate the tender process, including:
* Inviting potential contractors to submit tenders
* Chairing mid and post-tender interviews
* Comparing tender responses and negotiating with contractors
Required Experience and Skills
* 5+ years of experience in managing sizable and complex projects in the UK
* High-end project experience in residential, commercial, or hospitality sectors
* Refurbishment and new build projects
* Knowledge of UK building regulations, construction technology, and procurement methods
* Software proficiency in Smartsheet, Excel, and Microsoft Project
* Excellent communication, organizational, and technical skills
* Proactive approach to working with a "can-do" attitude and ability to take initiative and drive the project forward.
