Permanent, Full time opportunity for a Licenced Aircraft Engineer based in Glasgow.

This role is full time and is based on site at Glasgow Airport.

The role:
As a Licenced Aircraft Engineer, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will help to drive the delivery of the flying activities at alongside your Military colleagues by taking a Whole Force' approach to activities and ensuring excellent safety and delivery reputation is always maintained.
Day-to-day, you will have the following responsibilities:
Coordinating all CAA part 145 paperwork
H&S of all equipment and reporting of any faults and diagnostic problems.
Providing a CRS signature when appropriate to release an aircraft to service after either defect rectification or scheduled maintenance.
Essential experience of the Licenced Aircraft Engineer:
* Aircraft inspections, repair, and maintenance
* Sound understanding of partnering and alliance between customer and contract.
* Line support tasks
* Type Rating on Grob 115E aircraft and Lycoming 360 engines
* Have previously worked in a pt.145 environment
* Experience in the aircraft maintenance industry
Qualifications for the Licenced Aircraft Engineer:
* Recognised SHEQ Qualification
* Working knowledge of safety management systems (SMS)
* EASA/CAA Part 66, B1.2 license
* Clean driving licence
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain SC Clearance security clearance for this role.
