What you will do in your working day
* Assist in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting - Help diagnose issues with manufacturing equipment, perform preventative maintenance, and make repairs. Gain hands-on experience maintaining plant machinery.
* Support engineering projects - Work with engineers on optimizing manufacturing processes. May assist with data analysis, drafting proposals, observing current processes to identify improvements.
* Shadow engineers - Follow and assist engineers on the plant floor as they oversee operations. Learn about plant workflows, manufacturing processes, and coordinating production.
* Participate in equipment installations - Help install new machines and equipment. Learn about equipment commissioning, integration, calibration, and safety procedures.
* Support facilities maintenance - Assist with maintaining plant facilities
* Aid in supply chain and logistics - Help track inventory, place orders, coordinate with suppliers, assist in optimising product workflows.
* Assist with quality assurance - Learn about quality control processes. May help conduct inspections, record quality data, and identify process improvements.
* Participate in safety training - Complete required plant safety training. Assist with safety inspections and recommendations.
* Documentation and reporting - Help prepare reports and documentation on equipment, processes, production, etc. Maintain logs and records.
