Description We are currently recruiting a Senior Pricing Analyst (12 Months FTC) based from our office in London who will be part of the Chubb Personal Risk Services (PRS, also known as High Net Worth) business in Europe. Reporting to the European Pricing Manager PRS, the Senior Pricing Analyst will work closely with the Pricing Manager to develop and implement pricing strategy for PRS Home, Valuables, and Motor which includes the implementation of market pricing models, annual rate plan, enhancement of the Pricing algorithm, regular rate reviews and BAU pricing analytics and data priorities. The ideal candidate will be experience in personal lines pricing and able to quickly work alongside 2 Senior Pricing Analysts and 2 Actuarial Pricing resources. The candidate will be supported and provide guidance to a junior Pricing analyst within the team. Candidate Profile: Strong technical background – experienced with Radar, Emblem, Coding language and granular pricing analysis Experience in personal lines pricing Track record of delivering results: meeting deadlines, good organisation skills, clear documentation and detailed in methodology Ability to work alongside Pricing Analysts and Actuaries at varied levels Excellent communication both written and oral and able to simplify technical concepts to non-technical audiences Commercially minded and with a culture that suits Chubb Qualifications Your Responsibilities for this role may include, but are not limited to: Support delivery of Pricing priorities for PRS Home and Motor business across the UK and Ireland and Continental Europe. Ongoing management and enhancement of rating structures/pricing algorithms to profitably grow the PRS portfolio. Participate during actuarial portfolio reviews to segment and analyse the book and identify/manage performing and non-performing areas. Analyse the products and pricing on a regional basis to determine Chubb’s opportunity for market penetration. Liaise with the actuarial, analytics, catastrophe modelling, reserving teams to manage the pricing adequacy for the business along all lines and territories. Coordinate the rate and exposure monitoring on a monthly basis with pro-active communication with management. Have a competent handle on the GLM / analytics work for all lines, software knowledge and use of Radar, SQL/Python and other tools for implementation and recommendation. Supporting the European Pricing Manager and other PRS managers in managing each product through analysis of key operating measures and implementing changes as appropriate including quotes, sales, exposure distributions, premium trends, loss trends and rate indications Partner with actuarial, IT, project management and other functional resources to coordinate product implementation and monitor achievement of planned results. Communicate effectively with Chubb Overseas Management to align the direction of the book and the Group requirements What skills & experience are required? Significant UK Personal Lines experience including strong understanding of pricing, actuarial techniques, business strategies, products, coverage, UK distribution process. Extensive pricing knowledge within the Home and Motor market. Knowledge of the High Net Worth segment desirable. Remarkable interpersonal skills and a team player attitude that suits the Chubb matrix culture Outstanding written and oral communication skills; ability to explain technical issues in non-technical terms Excellent software/technical skills. Proficiency with Radar and at least one programming language (for example SQL or Python) Proven ability to manage tight deadlines and priorities.
