Role description:
Our graduate GROW programme is a structured 3-year programme, designed to help you evolve and develop skills to become an experienced professional in your chosen field. Youll benefit from training and development, mentoring, and assistance foraccreditations relevant to your programme, as well as the support and guidanceyou need to develop and succeed. As a GROW graduate you will be empowered to drive your career and will be exposed to a variety of experiences to assist you in gaining the skills you require to succeed.
As a specialist and science graduate joining GROW you will specialise from day one in your chosen discipline. Working in teams of consultants youll be responsible for your own deliverables, liaising with clients, and given every opportunity to build your skillsets and technical expertise. Youll work on a range of environmental and planning projects which may include major infrastructure, urban regeneration and community focussed projects that will expose you to a variety of challenges and technical specialists.
Role accountabilities:
Town Planning - As part of our integrated Town / Development / Infrastructure Planning and Environmental Assessment and Management team, youll be instrumental in delivering holistic planning solutions across a range of sectors and for our diverse portfolio of clients. Our projects include delivering major housing developments, supporting regeneration and mixed-used development, and world-renowned major infrastructure planning projects (e.g. energy, transport, water, etc.). A key part of your role will be to contribute to feasibility studies and options assessments, input to design development, consultation and stakeholder engagement, preparing and submitting planning applications for small community projects up to Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects, and discharging conditions during the delivery phase.
Accepted degrees: BSc / MA / Diploma in RTPI accredited Planning courses.
Qualifications & Experience:
1. You will be graduating in or have recently graduated with at least a 2:2 in a relevant master's or bachelor's degree
2. You will demonstrate typical Arcadian skills including Resilience, Creativity, Analytical Thinking and being a Team Player
3. You will have excellent communication skills and the ability to use your technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders.
4. Willing to travel and stay away from homewhen required (where possible we embrace virtual working)
5. Hold a full driving licence which allows you to drive in the UK
6. Comfortable with Site based working, when required for projects
