About the Role:
We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic English Teacher to deliver engaging lessons to Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 students. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in helping students develop their love for English language and literature while achieving their academic potential.
This is a full-time position, with the potential for a permanent role for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
* Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality English lessons aligned with the national curriculum.
* Inspire and challenge students of varying abilities to reach their full potential.
* Assess, record, and report on students' progress, providing constructive feedback.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and personal development.
* Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the school's ethos and objectives.
Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
* Experience teaching English in a secondary school setting.
* Strong classroom management skills.
* A passion for education and a commitment to student success.
* A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
