Join our Geoscience team, made up of market-leading experts, and work on-site in our Hethel, Norwich office. We offer unparalleled site characterisation, geoscience management, sediment processes, UXO management, and GIS and data services.
The Senior Geoscience Consultant role involves acting as a primary liaison for clients, providing operational support, and ensuring high-quality deliverables. Provide technical advice, manage information and data flow, and support the bidding phase and business development.
Key Responsibilities:
* Act as a primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle.
* Produce and present geological and technical reports.
* Offer technical advice and guidance to the geophysical team.
* Assist with technical guidance during the bidding phase.
* Monitor survey data acquisition and manage quality assurance.
* Attend client meetings and maintain relationships.
* Identify new opportunities and support business development.
* Provide clear leadership and task coordination.
Expertise Required:
* At least five to seven years of relevant work experience with large offshore geophysical survey campaigns.
* Familiarity with the UXO risk management industry is advantageous.
* Strong understanding of the offshore energy industry and its needs.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Proven experience in managing and ensuring data quality.
* Experience in project management or leadership roles.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong commitment to adhering to safety protocols and industry best practices.
Education/Qualifications and Competencies:
* Degree in Geophysics, Geoscience, or another relevant field.
* Master's degree is a related field is desirable.
* Full Driving License.
* Willing and able to travel as required.
* Excellent verbal and written English.
