The care home is under new ownership, the home does require turn around and this is reflected in the occupancy being at 50%, and the hiring of the deputy manager is a key hire to improve this during the transition to the new owners. Responsible for the overall running of the care home with the home manager including; rotas, standard nursing duties, clinical leadership, care plans, HR/marketing, training staff, appraisals You must hold an active NMC pin with an Adult, Mental Health or Learning Disability Nursing Qualification Working hours are; 4 x 12-hour shifts mix of nursing and supernumerary shifts, once the home is fully occupied this will reduce to 40 hours per week and working Mon - Fri. The salary is £23.00 - £24.00 per hour paid breaks - £52,000 - £57,000 per year The Care Home & Group The Care Home specialises in residential, dementia, end-of-life and nursing care round the clock by a dedicated & compassionate team of qualified nurses and healthcare professionals. It has just changed ownership, therefore the CQC report is yet to be completed however the previous report was poor and this reflects in the occupancy being 50%. The existing home manager and the newly appointed clinical lead nurse are key hires to improve the occupancy and other areas of the care service and you will be given full support from the owner to improve certain areas of the care home where needed. The home is dedicated to looking after the individual needs of each resident through personalised care plans. Clinical / Supernumerary responsibilities split Rotas, standard nursing duties, clinical leadership, care plans, HR/marketing, training staff, appraisals Support the manager in the implementation of all policies, procedures and business objectives Act as a focal point for contact with residents, their relatives and visitors, as well as health and social care professionals. Assume responsibility for managing the home during the manager's absences, marketing the Home to existing and potential residents and relatives Clinical Lead Nurse Experience Required Must have an NMC PIN with a degree in Nursing (Adult, Learning Disability or Mental Health trained) Must have demonstrable experience in a similar role as a Deputy Manager/Clinical Lead Demonstrable experience in leading large teams of Nurses and carers in a Care home.
