Job Title: Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner Location: Liverpool Salary: Competitive, based on experience About the Role: We are currently recruiting for an experienced Residential Conveyancing Fee Earner to join a well-established law firm based in Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual with significant experience in residential conveyancing who is looking to take the next step in their career and manage their own caseload in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities: Caseload Management Support: Assist the Team Leader/Senior Conveyancer in managing a diverse caseload, including sales, purchases, transfers of equity, and re-mortgages. Draft and review legal documents such as contracts, transfers, and completion statements. Prepare files for exchange and completion, ensuring all legal requirements are met. Conduct legal research and gather necessary documentation to support transactions. Client and Third-Party Liaison: Communicate effectively with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other parties involved in the conveyancing process. Handle routine client inquiries, providing updates on transaction progress and responding to any issues that arise. Ensure that all parties are kept informed of key developments and timelines. File and Compliance Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date files, ensuring compliance with legal, regulatory, and firm standards. Conduct due diligence, including the review of title deeds, searches, and mortgage offers. Assist in identifying and resolving any potential issues or risks associated with transactions. Administrative and Technical Support: Provide administrative support to the Team Leader/Senior Conveyancer, including scheduling meetings, preparing documentation, and managing correspondence. Utilise conveyancing software and systems to manage tasks, track progress, and ensure timely completion of transactions. Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless service delivery and client satisfaction. Skills & Experience: Significant experience working in residential conveyancing, with a solid understanding of the full conveyancing process. Demonstrated ability to manage and support a caseload in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Excellent communication and client management skills, with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organisational and time-management skills. Experience using case management systems and other relevant software.
