We’re looking for an Online Marketplace Assistant to join Cancer Research UK’s Online Marketplace team in our first ever 12,000 sq. ft. Regional Distribution Centre (RDC) in Warrington which opened in May 2023. Our Online Marketplace Team sort, identify, value, photograph, and list items for sale on our online marketplace platforms (e.g., eBay, Depop, Vestiaire and ASOS). As a n Online Marketplace Assistant you’ll be trained in all aspects of the online marketplace (including stock receipt, discovery, photography, and listing products across all online marketplace sites). You'll also support the dispatch element of the process, which includes picking, packing and preparing customer orders for dispatch. This will be an interesting and active role as part of a supportive and diverse team where you’ll discover something new every day, whether it’s a new treasure, a new camera angle or a talent you never knew you had. Unpacking deliveries and sorting items into the correct categories. Researching items to check if the value meets the requirements for sale online. Taking h igh q uality photo’s as per brand guidelines. Creating accurate descriptions of each item to enable accurate and enticing listings. Creating high-quality item listings for Cancer Research UK’s online shop across a range of platforms (e.g. eBay, Depop, Vestiaire, and ASOS ). Using the correct key search words in the listing to attract customers and boost sales. Operating within our brand and photography guidelines to give a consistent look and feel to each marketplace listing. Working to agreed daily targets. Picking, packing, and sorting sold items within the D ispatch d epartment. What are you looking for ? Background in working in fast-paced environments that involve stock processing (e.g. retail, ecommerce, hospitality, logistics, warehousing, etc). Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to support customer service queries Experience working to meet targets/ KPIs with excellent time management. Excellent eye for detail with a proven ability to work effectively under pressure whilst maintaining high standards. Proficient IT and administrative skills (including Microsoft Packages and data entry in Excel). Shopigo software would be beneficial but is not essential meaning we welcome applicants without this experience. A n interest in or previous experience with fashion or non-fashion (i.e. jewellery, accessories, antiques, or collectables etc) Experience buying or selling on online marketplaces either in a personal or professional setting (e.g., eBay, Depop, Vestiaries, ASOS etc) would be beneficial but is not essential meaning we welcome applicants without this experience.
