The EES (Electronics & Embedded Systems) business unit has world class experts in the provision of real-time embedded systems, specialising in safety critical control systems.
Due to the growth of our client's business, we are seeking two Electronics Technical Leads to work at our Client's site in Stevenage on a hybrid basis. The successful candidates will Lead/Manage the development and delivery of projects within the clients Power Electronics group.
Responsibilities
Lead the technical solution to a Project.
Develop technical solutions in line with customer development methods and processes.
Manage the delivery of technical solutions, co-ordinating the inputs from different customer capability areas.
Coordinate the analysis of technical problems and constraints, proposing solutions or remedies.
Provide schedule & cost estimates updates to the Engineering Project Management Office.
Support quality management activities.
Participate in Project Delivery Review forums and Design Reviews.
Qualifications
Engineering Degree (or equivalent qualification) in relevant engineering discipline, with significant demonstrable experience.
Essential skills
Leadership & working in a multi-disciplinary environment
Estimating design effort, timescales, costs & associated risks
Problem solving across a wide range of technologies / products
Communication, influencing, negotiating
Experience
At least 7 years' experience in a digital or analogue electronics design within a structured development environment.
Previous Technical Leadership experience in electronics development environment
What do I need before I apply
Required to work Hybrid in Stevenage on our clients site, for some project phases this may be 5 days/week
Occasional travel may be required to Bolton
Due to security restrictions candidate shall be a UK National
