Job Title: Team Manager (Children)

Rate: £46 per hour
Liquid Personnel is currently recruiting for an experienced Team Manager to join a busy team in Rochdale.
Responsibilities:
As a Team Manager within Rochdale, you will provide leadership and supervision to a team of social workers, ensuring effective case management and adherence to policies and procedures. You will oversee complex child protection cases, offering guidance and support to ensure the safety and well-being of children. Your role will involve monitoring and evaluating the performance of team members, providing feedback, training, and development opportunities. You will conduct and review risk assessments to identify potential dangers to children and implement appropriate interventions. Working collaboratively with other agencies, such as law enforcement, healthcare providers, and educational institutions, you will coordinate services and support for children and families. Ensuring that all team activities comply with local and national child protection policies and legislation, you will respond to emergencies and critical incidents, providing leadership and decision-making support. Additionally, you will maintain accurate records and prepare reports for internal and external stakeholders, organize and deliver training sessions for team members to enhance their skills and knowledge, and engage with the community to raise awareness about child protection issues and promote preventative measures.

Qualifications and Experiences :
To be eligible for this position, you must have Social Work England registration and be eligible to work in the UK. Additionally, you must hold a full UK driving licence. Post-qualified experience and a degree-level or equivalent qualification in Social Work are also required.
