Job summary This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of the Institute of Care Excellence Team as a Practice Educator- International Pastoral Team. The international pastoral team will be leading the support of international nurses and other professionals arriving at the Trust each month, ensuring all nurses arrive safely, receive a warm welcome and have access to ongoing pastoral care during the start of their careers at Nottingham University Hospitals. Main duties of the job You will work as a practice educator within the international pastoral team. You will also work alongside the practice education team and multi-professional colleagues across the Trust and be committed to delivering excellence in staff experience to all new starters. You will need to be a highly motivated, skilled clinical practitioner, a professional role model and communicator, with evidence of an experience of supporting learners in the clinical setting. Responsibilities will include: Coordinating the pastoral support for international nurses joining the Trust Working clinically primarily with international nurses Delivering clinical and educational programmes in both classroom and clinical settings Developing and supporting preceptors, supervisors and assessors to adhere to the Trust and national guidelines giving appropriate guidance where required.
