About the role
Due to a team member going on maternity leave we have an exciting opportunity to join our ambitious and welcoming Individual Giving Team for twelve months as Individual Giving Manager.
Committed Giving at Alzheimer's Society is growing year on year with an ambitious target of £18m. In this role you'll work across a varied selection of regular giving and weekly lottery campaigns including, payroll giving, digital and SMS. You'll have the opportunity to line manage a coordinator and manage the expenditure budget, assessing and optimising spend to give the best value to Alzheimer's Society and make the best investment to grow regular giving.
There are lots of exciting projects coming up in The Committed Giving Team including redeveloping a new TV Ad and redesigning our Social ads and testing Inserts. You'll also be building strong relationships with our new agency partners for 25/26.
This role also gives the opportunity to network and work closely with teams across the organisation including data, events, supporter experience and procurement.
The role will give you the opportunity to write and manage large income and expenditure budgets, reforecasting as needed and reporting on changes to the Senior Manager and Finance Business Partner.
You will be joining a supportive and experienced team who will help you to develop and excel in the role, so this opportunity is well suited to someone wanting to take the next step in their career, or someone already at this level wanting to build on their existing experience at one of the UK's biggest charities
About you
Keen understanding of marketing and/or fundraising techniques, and either existing knowledge or a passion to learn more about DRTV, Socials and Inserts.
Excellent relationship building skills, able to work with external agencies and internal stakeholders to build strong partnerships.
Confident embracing radical candour and having direct, constructive conversations with agencies about performance and expectations.
A leader, able to set direction for the team, problem solve and provide encouragement and motivation.
Some experience of budgeting, including monitoring spend, projecting income, and making suggestions for further investment and cost savings.
You will need to be proficient with Excel, reading data and reports, and making basic calculations.
Data led - you will be able to work closely with the data team to analyse current results and make recommendations for future campaigns.
Keen and ambitious to get to grips with the role quickly, given this is a fixed term contract covering an internal secondment.
You are:
Verbal and written communication skills to liaise with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Excellent IT skills and extensive experience/knowledge on using Microsoft packages.
Work collaboratively and be able to prioritise your workload effectively.
Strong analytical and interpretation skills.
Excellent organisational skills and great attention to detail.

Be a self-starter and incredibly motivated.
