The Care Home Manager will oversee all care aspects within the Home, leading its development and driving continuous improvements. The focus is on maintaining a caring environment where residents and families feel secure and happy, ensuring their respect and dignity are upheld, while aligning with our organisational values. The Care Home Manager's responsibility is to guarantee highest quality care for our residents. The Home This Care Home provides practice-leading care for older people, including those living with dementia. The Care Home Manager is responsible for the delivery of safe, effective and compassionate care in accordance with the values of the home The role: Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the care home, ensuring high standards of care and service delivery. Managing and leading a team of staff, including recruitment, training, supervision, and performance appraisals. Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulatory requirements, such as CQC (Care Quality Commission) standards and health and safety regulations. Developing and maintaining care plans tailored to individual residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met. Managing budgets and financial records, ensuring efficient use of resources and staying within financial targets. Liaising with families, health professionals, and external stakeholders to ensure the well-being and satisfaction of residents. Monitoring and improving the quality of care through regular audits, feedback, and continuous professional development. Managing incidents, complaints, and safeguarding concerns in line with established protocols, ensuring the safety and dignity of all residents. What you will need: Required: Minimum of 5 years' experience managing a residential or nursing home Evidence of managing and delivery a high quality financially successful care home Full driving licence and access to a car for business use Desired criteria: RGN qualified with active UK PIN Number.
