If so, the Profit Protection Specialist role here at Harding could be the ideal next challenge About the role: As a Profit Protection Specialist, you’ll play a key role in inventory management and loss prevention. You’ll coach our onboard cruise retail teams on company policies and procedures, with a specific focus on reducing losses and driving shelf availability. Based in Avonmouth on a hybrid working basis – 2 days in office per week alongside regular national/international travel. Compensation – competitive salary, bonus scheme, pension, 4 x life assurance, healthcare cash plan, 25 days leave annually (including Christmas shutdown). What you will be doing: Develop and ensure the ships Stock Loss Improvement Plans are fit for purpose and will drive the targeted stock loss reductions Conduct regular stock loss reviews with key stakeholders including Onboard Teams, Buyers, Area Managers, Account Directors Work with the Inventory Reconciliation team to review relevant stock loss data Provide speci?c feedback and guidance to retail management teams following onboard compliance audits Report compliance audit performance to the Retail Operations team, and conduct investigations where required Provide detailed development plans for retail management to improve onboard stock standards Support the opening of new onboard stores by implementing key operations standards Support and plan the use of third-party stock counting companies as part of annual cyclical counting targets About you: Experience in a retail environment would be highly advantageous, as would an understanding of cruise retail specifically An understanding of Stock Management and Profit and Loss systems would be desirable, as would experience with third party stocktaking Process driven with excellent attention to detail Strong communicator with a confident approach to driving results Competent using Microsoft O?ce Suite Can commit to regular national and international travel Full driving licence Must have an existing right of eligibility to work in the UK Key Attributes – trust, collaboration, respect, passion, drive, resilience About us: Harding is leading the way in innovative onboard cruise retailing, working closely with our cruise line partners and brand partners to ‘make every cruise better’.
