Are you a skilled Multiskilled Engineer with a qualification in either electrical or mechanical engineering? We are offering an exciting opportunity to work in a healthcare environment in Whiston, where you will play a vital role in maintaining essential facilities.
Responsibilities
1. Perform planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs on mechanical and electrical systems within a healthcare setting.
2. Diagnose faults and implement solutions to minimize downtime.
3. Maintain compliance with safety and quality standards, ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff.
4. Collaborate with team members to deliver an efficient and reliable maintenance service.
5. Participate in an on-call rota to provide emergency support outside of core hours.
Qualifications
1. Qualified in electrical or mechanical engineering (City & Guilds, NVQ, or equivalent).
2. Experience working in a healthcare environment or familiarity with PFI contracts (preferred but not essential).
3. Additional trade experience (e.g., plumbing, HVAC, carpentry) is highly desirable.
4. Strong understanding of health and safety standards.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
