Minimum one year of professional experience in care Proof of right to work in the UK Excellent communication skills (both written and spoken) with the ability to build positive relationships with clients, families and colleagues A compassionate and caring nature with the ability to empathise with others A patient and calm demeanour with the ability to handle challenging situations with professionalism The ability to work independently and as part of a team, taking initiative when required As a live-in care assistant, you will be providing a variety of non-medical services such as companionship; hot and nutritious meal preparation; personal shopping; administering medication; helping around the home with tasks such as laundry and cleaning; and socialising with clients, ensuring they continue to be involved in community activities wherever possible.
