Your responsibilities...
* Adhere to the Health & Safety Policy, prioritising the well-being of yourself and others at all times.
* Utilise company property (e.g., mobile tech, vehicles) responsibly and efficiently to support your role.

* Take ownership of a variety of multi-skilled tasks within your main trade area, as assigned by management.
* You will be given access to a PA Housing van in order to undertake your duties all over the East Midlands contributing to a dynamic and varied workload.
* Confidently work at height, using ladders safely and effectively when required.
* Be flexible with working hours, including out-of-hours shifts with additional payment.

To be successful in this role, we’d be looking for the following
* Driving licence
* NVQ 2 or equivalent in a Building Trade
* NVQ 3 or equivalent in a Building Trade
* Asbestos awareness training
* Experience of carrying out multi trade building repairs
* Experience of carrying out ‘Decent Homes’ Kitchen & Bathroom works
Disclosure and Barring Service:
This role of requires the successful candidate to complete a standard DBS check. A standard DBS check will show any unspent convictions.
So why do we need to know this information? This role will be required to visit / support PA Housing residents in their own homes on a regular basis. Therefore we have a duty to our residents to ensure that we have taken precautions regarding who will be visiting them and representing PA Housing.
Having unspent convictions will not necessarily preclude you from being recruited into the role; if you are potentially the successful candidate, we will complete a risk assessment with you to understand the circumstances around your conviction, how relevant they are to the post you have applied for and what remedial action, if any, have you have taken since your conviction. Suitable references will also need to be obtained prior to commencement of employment.
