Key Responsibilities: Lead on all aspects of service charge management including budgeting, reconciliation, and compliance. Take responsibility for the annual rent review and ensure accurate rent setting across the portfolio. Oversee corporate insurance processes, including renewals and broker liaison. Manage and support a capable officer, offering guidance, delegation, and oversight of daily tasks. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders including asset management, income, lettings, and compliance teams. Handle leasehold queries and ensure alignment with relevant housing legislation and internal policy. Contribute to wider finance deliverables including reporting, forecasting, and year-end processes. Person Specification: At least three years' experience within a finance or housing function, ideally with exposure to rents and service charges. Sound knowledge of housing legislation such as Section 20 and the Landlord and Tenant Act is highly desirable. Comfortable working with Excel and spreadsheet-based processes; knowledge of housing systems is a bonus. Confident communicator with a collaborative and customer-oriented approach. Previous experience in corporate insurance or compliance is a plus. AAT qualification, part-qualified, or qualified by experience candidates are welcomed.
