This role of Installation Engineer and Site Manager is predominantly site based, and the role will include a works vehicle. When office based, you will be at Malpas, Cheshire. On occasion we will require you to work from there and/or collect equipment prior to heading out on site. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who can carry out mechanical installation of equipment and fittings both onsite or workshop based, as required. Ideally you will have extensive experience within mechanical and electrical engineering and have knowledge on waste/industrial water treatment projects. An appropriate engineering qualification is desirable, as is an ability to read and understand engineering/construction drawings and related design documents. We require you to have strong organisational and communication skills as you will be working closely with clients, as well as the Project Manager. It is a given that you are proficient in Microsoft office. The role will involve UK travel and working with the customers site representative. We are looking for someone who can take responsibility of the construction site, acting as site manager where required. Preferably you will hold either SMSTS or SSSTS, have a CSCS card and working knowledge of CDM regulations. A valid UK driving licence is a requirement of this role.
