Job Title: Experienced Car Mechanic Hours - Monday - Friday 9-6.00pm. Every 2nd Saturday 9-3.00pm Salary up to £43k bonus depending on experience. Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Experienced Car Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in vehicle repair and maintenance, with the ability to diagnose faults and carry out high-quality repairs on a range of vehicles — including hybrid and electric vehicles (if certified). Role Overview: As an Experienced Car Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our customers’ vehicles are safe, reliable, and performing at their best. This is a hands-on role requiring technical expertise, attention to detail, and strong customer service skills. Key Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults across various vehicle makes and models. Perform routine servicing and maintenance, including oil changes, brake replacements, and tire rotations. Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Troubleshoot and repair hybrid and electric vehicle systems (if certified). Clearly explain repair needs and work carried out to customers, ensuring excellent service. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Requirements: Minimum 4 years of experience working as a vehicle mechanic. Relevant mechanical qualification is advantageous but not essential. Hybrid and EV Certification is highly desirable — however, training can be provided for the right candidate. Strong knowledge of automotive systems, diagnostic tools, and repair techniques. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship. A valid driving license is essential.
