Roles and Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Business Development, you will be part of an experienced team dedicated to driving growth and diversification. Your key responsibilities will include:

Promoting Services – Actively market a comprehensive range of services, including asbestos surveys, consultancy, asbestos removal, air quality testing, water hygiene management, workplace occupational hygiene solutions, and tailored training programs.

Lead Generation & Sales – Identify new business opportunities, secure new contracts, and build lasting client relationships across the North East and Central Scotland.
*
Collaborative Cross-Selling – Work closely with department managers to offer clients a full suite of services, maximising business potential.

Client Relationship Management – Foster strong client relationships to ensure satisfaction, retention, and ongoing revenue growth.
*
Strategic Campaign Support – Collaborate with the marketing team to provide insights and contribute to campaigns aimed at attracting new clients.

Achieving Targets – Manage a pipeline of opportunities to meet and exceed annual sales goals.
Person Specification
We are looking for a motivated and results-driven individual with a strong background in business development, particularly within asbestos consultancy and water hygiene compliance services. The ideal candidate will possess:

Proven Experience – Demonstrable success in business development within relevant industries.

Excellent Communication Skills – The ability to engage and build strong relationships at all levels.

Proactive Sales Approach – A strategic mindset focused on lead generation and revenue growth.

IT Proficiency – Competency in MS Office applications.

Full Driving Licence – A valid driving licence is required.
What We Offer

Competitive Salary – Up to £37,000 per annum (dependent on experience) with on-target earnings starting at £50,000 and beyond.

Benefits Package – Includes company vehicle or car allowance, company-paid healthcare (after three years’ service), employer pension contributions, contractual sick pay, and a £1,000 staff referral incentive.

Holidays – 22 days’ holiday, increasing to 25 after three years and 27 after five years, plus eight statutory bank holidays. Additionally, a paid day off for your birthday.

Hybrid Working – A 40-hour workweek (Monday to Friday) with flexible hybrid working options.
