Are you dynamic and self-motivated? Can you devise and deliver innovative plans that have real results? Do you have a passion for building and empowering communities? If so, we need you!
Empowering communities and improving the lives of those within them is in our DNA. It’s what gets us out of bed in the morning. To continue the amazing success of our community investment projects, we’re looking for a Community Development Officer to join us on a permanent basis where you'll be based in Bracknell and covering the surrounding areas.
You’ll develop, coordinate and deliver sustainable and meaningful community plans through consultation, research and data analysis to identify where the right resources are needed the most in the community, ensuring social value and value for money is always maximised.
Whether it be with our residents, local authorities or our range of community partners, you’ll be able to quickly build rapport with stakeholders at all levels and have the confidence to negotiate and challenge where necessary, all with the end goal of delivering sustainable community investment projects.
Access to your own vehicle and a full, valid driver’s license is essential for this position. You will also be required to work evenings and some weekends, therefore lone working is required at times.
Experience in a community cohesion role isn’t essential, but the ability to research and analyse data, think creatively to find solutions to tricky problems, and deliver results is a must!
If you want the opportunity to join a team as passionate and committed to building and empowering communities as we are, we’d love to hear from you!
