Your Impact and Responsibilities As Imports Data Coordinator, you will: Oversee the end-to-end import process, ensuring shipments arrive on time and managing risks proactively. Act as the gatekeeper for imports and exports data, consolidating requirements from stakeholders. Analyse data to provide actionable insights, identifying risks and opportunities in the inbound supply chain. Translate ordering forecasts into shipping forecasts to assist in volume planning. Track and report on financial metrics, including freight expenditure, brokerage costs, and discrepancies in ELC vs ALC costings. Maintain and update key business reports, including the Buyers Book and shipping cost forecasts. Partner with third parties and stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and efficient supply chain operations. Lead or support key projects, driving efficiencies and cost-saving initiatives. Skills and Knowledge To succeed in this role, youll need: Strong experience in international shipping, including knowledge of import/export processes. Advanced data analysis skills, with the ability to summarise findings and present clear insights to stakeholders. Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail. Confidence in managing and maintaining financial records, identifying discrepancies, and suggesting timely solutions. Excellent communication skills, capable of liaising effectively with third parties and cross-functional teams.
