Key Responsibilities: Team Leadership and Management: Manage and develop a team of three HR Advisors and HR Officers, ensuring high-quality customer service and advocacy for the HR function. Customer Service, Advice, and Problem Solving: Provide expert advice on all people-related matters, support business objectives with people-focused solutions, and manage complex employee relations cases. Terms and Conditions: Assist with contractual issues, ensuring accuracy and compliance, and support queries related to colleague retention offers. Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all HR policies and practices comply with current laws and regulations, maintaining up-to-date knowledge and implementing necessary changes. Employee Relations: Manage all ER cases expertly, provide support to line managers in implementing people policies and procedures, and ensure timely resolution of issues. Advocacy and Best Practice: Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the HR function and develop and deliver people-related development events. Data Analytics: Extract, analyse, and interpret HR data to improve employee experience and service delivery using tools like Bob, PowerBI, or Excel, and make balanced recommendations based on findings. You will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience. Experience in supplier contract management. Proven track record in developing people initiatives and advising line managers. Strong leadership and team development skills. In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practices. Excellent communication, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities. Personal resilience and ability to work under pressure. Familiarity with HR systems like bob or similar platforms. As standard, we work on a hybrid basis with a minimum of 2 days in the office per week. Hybrid working is a voluntary, noncontractual arrangement and your office will be your contractual place of work. The number of days that anyone will be able to work at home will be determined primarily by business needs, but personal and other relevant circumstances will also be considered.
