Description As a cleaning supervisor, you will be responsible for leading, monitoring, and supervising a group of employees to achieve goals that contribute to the daily aspects of the business. Team leaders motivate and inspire their team by creating an environment that promotes positive communication, encourages bonding between team members, and demonstrates flexibility. Duties will include instruction, direction and undertaken of day-to-day cleaning tasks to help achieve a specific goal and standards within the building and surrounding areas and completing any other associated tasks requested by management. Main Duties Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities: Undertaking day to day cleaning tasks set out by management. Communicating goals and deadlines to team members Assisting with appropriate training Planning workloads and delegating tasks Ensuring paperwork is completed in a timely manner. Assessing team performance and providing feedback to employees Assisting with the daily operation and any Ad-hoc tasks Ensure that all team members are familiar with and adhere to the Company’s Policies and Procedures. Complete HR related tasks for the staff under your control as agreed with the Manager Investigate accidents or incidents and revise risk assessments where necessary. Provide sufficient cover and allocate cleaning tasks during periods of staff absence or holidays, monitoring attendance, communicate any staffing issues immediately to your Soft Services Manager and respond to all requests within a reasonable time frame as required.
