Are you a dedicated Veterinary Surgeon looking for a rewarding opportunity in a family run, independent practice? If so then we have a wonderful opportunity at a thriving independent practice near Chesterfield, where animal care excellence meets a supportive and caring environment.
Our client's practice, established over 30 years ago, is a cornerstone of the community, known for its commitment to expert animal care. With two convenient locations near Sheffield and Chesterfield, both nestled near the breath-taking Peak District, they offer a fantastic work-life balance.
You will become part of a close-knit team led by an experienced Clinical Director. The team includes 4 Veterinary Surgeons, with one holding a certificate in small animal surgery, and another with a Cert AVP certificate specialising in orthopaedic and soft tissue surgery. Supporting them are 5 dedicated RVNs, 2 talented SVNs, 3 outstanding ANAs, 2 experienced Receptionists, and a compassionate Practice Manager. At the practice, they believe in having fun while providing top-notch care.
You will see a varied caseload, including charity work, BOAS, and TTA surgeries. The practice boasts state-of-the-art facilities with equipment such as Ultrasound, Digital X-Ray, Endoscopy, Laparoscopy, fully equipped operating theatres, Dental X-ray, In-house lab, ECG, and In-house orthopaedic referrals. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 years' experience as a Veterinary Surgeon, and ideally you will have a passion for veterinary medicine and a desire to excel in your field.
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient and client care are essential for this role.
The Rota:
• Full time - 4 day week (Part time applications considered)
• Flexible working patterns
• 1 in 4 Saturdays
• No OOH
• 15 minute consultations with allocated admin and coffee breaks
The Benefits:
• Fantastic salary from £35,000 - £60,000 DOE
