About the Role As a Maintenance Engineer, you will work within a dedicated team, responsible for both electrical and mechanical maintenance across the production facility. You will be instrumental in keeping our equipment running smoothly, safely, and efficiently while minimizing downtime. Key Responsibilities ✅ Carry out planned preventative maintenance to enhance machinery reliability. ✅ Diagnose and resolve electrical, automation, and mechanical faults efficiently. ✅ React swiftly to breakdowns, minimizing disruption to production. ✅ Perform PLC fault-finding to input and output level. ✅ Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives. ✅ Maintain a strong focus on safety standards, OEE performance, and CCO compliance. What We’re Looking For We are seeking a proactive Maintenance Engineer with experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You should have a strong electrical background and a passion for continuous improvement. Qualifications & Experience: ✔ BTEC/ONC in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. ✔ C&G 2330 Level 3 Electro-Technical Certificate with NVQ 3 Electrical Maintenance. ✔ HNC in Electrical or Production Maintenance Engineering (desirable). ✔ Time-served apprenticeship in electrical or multi-skilled engineering. ✔ Experience with food process machinery (preferred).
