The working hours for this position are, one week at from 7:00 to 3:30pm, one week at 10.30am - 7.00pm and two weeks at 9.00am - 5.30pm.
Please note this role is based in our Belfast office, with an onsite presence required at least 60% of the time in line with our hybrid working policy.
Digital and Marketing Technology Team
The digital and marketing technology team implements and manages the firm’s integrated marketing information systems and digital marketing communications channels. The digital channels include our public and client websites, email marketing system, content libraries, and blogs. The team is also responsible for the technologies that support core business development and marketing processes, including experience collection, contact management, pitching and opportunity management, CV management, event management, client segmentation and marketing analytics. These broad areas of activity support each other and overlap, helping to provide a 360° view of our interactions with a client.
The digital marketing and technology team is based in London, Belfast, New York, Munich and Sydney, and is part of the global marketing, business development and communications group.
What you will do
In this role, you will assist senior members of the Digital & Marketing Technology Team on projects and higher level tasks and to act as a ‘go-to’ and provide technical support across our Marketing Technology platforms. This will include:
1. Being a point of contact for our Marketing Technology Systems (EPiC, Vuture, Dynamics, AOhub) and providing best practice advice and guidance to users.
2. Providing ad-hoc training to users of our Marketing Technology Systems, as and when needed.
3. Supporting on the creation of Marketing Technology process documents and guides.
4. Assisting on key projects, providing updates to management on a regular basis.
5. Troubleshooting issues across our Marketing Technology Systems and liaising with senior members of the team or external system providers, as and when needed.
6. Ensuring any system upgrades and enhancements to our platforms are correctly tested and implemented.
7. Supporting on the distribution of firm-wide email campaigns, including producing analytics reports and giving advice on how to improve campaigns in the future.
8. Acting as a data steward for the firm’s contact management platform, managing collateral, standard text, etc.
9. Participating in wider projects which require Marketing Technology input.
10. Performing administration duties across workflow platform (monitoring of contact inboxes, answering calls, updating trackers).
11. Providing cover for the workflow co-ordinators when required.
12. Liaising with and supporting internal stakeholders, managing expectations in line with service agreements and A&O's strategic objectives.
13. Performing any other tasks and duties as may be required, commensurate with the level of the post.
What you will have
1. Experience of working with data and a good understanding of how information systems and processes work.
2. Good attention to detail, with ability to quality check own work.
3. Excellent knowledge of Excel, and a good working knowledge of Word and Outlook.
4. An ability to identify and troubleshoot issues and delegate to technical colleagues or external providers if required.
5. Experience of assisting on key projects and helping to deliver solutions.
6. Experience of using email marketing systems, such as Vuture.
7. Experience of website publishing using content management systems, Sitecore and SharePoint highly preferable.
8. Strong editorial and proofreading skills.
9. Experience working with digital assets and web technologies such as websites and apps.
10. Excellent organizational and project management skills.
11. Self-motivated, enthusiastic, responsive, proactive and innovative with good problem solving skills.
12. Good communication and interpersonal skills, able to confidently interact at all levels and across cultures.
13. Ability to work under pressure.
14. Experience with PowerBI and other Power apps is desirable.
