Welcome Energy are looking to grow our sales team and recruit a Consultant for the Public Sector to focus on identifying new business opportunities and nurturing relationships to drive business growth. You will be joining a small, and friendly business. Core Responsibilities To proactively source leads and generate new business from the public sector through high volumes of outbound telephone sales To oversee the progression of leads through the sales process, ensuring that opportunities are being pursued and closed effectively To handle inbound telephone calls generated from web leads and other sources To ensure that the quality of sales is robust and that these are compliant with both internal and external sales compliance standards To achieve defined productivity and appointment targets To drive growth, revenue and business profitability To ensure accurate capture and maintenance of customer data within the CRM system To work effectively with other team members in both sales and non-sales functions Developing sales strategies with the Creative Content team and executing to align with company goals Market research Staying up to date with current legislation and be able to advise clients to ensure compliance with legislative requirements Key Skills Required Target-driven and tenacious with a hunger to succeed Expertise in identifying potential leads, and generating interest from viable pursuits Commercially astute Enthusiastic, hard-working and committed Sound organisational and prioritisation skills A strong team player, ability to lead, mentor and motivate a sales team Professional, strong written and verbal communication skills Customer-centric A natural ability to sell and negotiate Experience with CRM systems Desirable Skills 2 years’ experience in an energy related, sales-based role Proven new business sales record of accomplishment
