Our client is seeking a Material Control Supervisor to join their team in based in the North East. This role is integral to the smooth operation of the company, ensuring all inventory materials are managed in accordance with company policies and procedures. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing all aspects of the stores and material control services, fostering teamwork and communication, and driving performance through KPI's and reporting. Role Resposibilities Lead and manage all aspects of the stores and material control services Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures Drive performance through KPI's and reporting What you'll do: As a Material Control Supervisor, you will be at the heart of our operations. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that established processes/procedures are followed as designed. You will develop and implement corrective actions with regard to department internal controls as necessary. You will also play a crucial role in managing site inventory, driving performance through KPIs, leading audits, fostering teamwork, and acting as a valued business partner. Your leadership skills will be put to good use as you manage the Turnaround Material control function. Promote and drive compliance to SHE standards Manage the Site Inventory Play a key role in development of stores operations and systems Lead completion of audits in areas and regular safety audit reviews when requested Drive housekeeping standards Foster teamwork and communication Act as a Valued Business Partner promoting an engaging working environment Lead and manage the Turnaround Material control function including managing a team of storemen and Turnaround material contractors What you bring: The ideal candidate for the Material Control Supervisor position brings a wealth of industry expertise to the table.
