Teaching Personnel is looking for compassionate and dedicated SEN Support Workers to work in schools across Chorley on flexible contracts, providing vital support to students who need it most.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide one-to-one and small group support for students with Special Educational Needs, helping them to engage in lessons and reach their full potential.
* Assist in managing challenging behaviours and promoting positive behaviour strategies in line with school policies.
* Support students’ social, emotional, and academic development through tailored interventions.
* Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and other school staff to ensure each student’s individual needs are met.
* Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment for all learners.
What We’re Looking For:
* Experience working with children or young people with SEN (in an educational or care setting is desirable).
* Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students and staff.
* Patience, empathy, and a calm approach to managing challenging situations.
* A passion for making a difference in the lives of students with diverse learning needs.
* Willingness to work flexibly and adapt to the needs of different schools and students.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
