What you’ll do: As a member of the EMEA Services Central Operations Team, the Battery Services Technical Specialist will provide oversight to the battery service activities performed in the services cluster. This individual will ensure that the battery services activities in the cluster are executed according to Eaton expectations and in alignment with the applicable regulatory requirements. In coordination with the Country Service Units, the Battery Service Technical Specialist will set up the process to ensure that battery service activities are delivered with the highest standards of Safety, Quality and Operations and will apply the Eaton standard work practices as defined by EBS and drive Eaton’s Zero Safety Culture with efficiency and effectiveness in order to support profit plan growth plans. For this role we are seeking an individual who has in-depth Technical understanding of battery services operations (Installation, Commissioning & Replacement) Supports the Central Operations Strategic Plan to ensure growth and sustained profitability in line with Eaton’s coverall Strategic Goals Ensures the highest level of safety standards are implemented and aligned with MESH, Eaton's Zero Incident Safety Culture as well as national guidelines and procedures Ensures compliance to H&S regulations, Field Audits, Training and development Creation of Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) for battery service operations in coordination with local EHS and field service teams Identify applicable training requirements and deliver the required trainings to the Field Service Team Develop and deploy a process to review and validate all battery service operations executed in the cluster Perform regular visits to customer sites where battery service activities are executed to provide technical support and identify improvement opportunities and best practices Design training courses on all company products and any other technical training Work closely with the training and technical manager to ensure training diary is constantly updated and all engineers are regularly reviewed and knowledge maintained Connect with key battery suppliers to follow up product / design safety related cases Works in collaboration with Battery technical specialists from other Clusters to share best practices, learnings and opportunities for improvement Qualifications: Battery services technical background Business operations experience or proven industry experience 5 years within a country / subregional operations role Skills: Knowledge of field service offerings – installation & commissioning, maintenance and aftermarket services Strong communication and interpersonal skills able to represent EMEA Services at various levels within the region Ability to influence change in people and processes Proactive mind-set with desire for clear accountability and ownership Acts as a role model in line with Eaton ethical standards of conduct and Eaton leadership value and attributes Fluency in English and local language Willingness to travel 50% within Cluster & 10% within EMEA region What we can offer to you: Contract in fast growing global company Challenging projects in dynamic collaborative team Great promotional opportunities - We encourage internal promotion, whenever possible Excellent working environment - safety and ethic are really important for us LI-KK2 We are committed to ensuring equal employment opportunities for job applicants and employees.
