Our client, operating within the HTP sector, is currently seeking a committed and experienced Registered Building Control Surveyor to join their dynamic team. This permanent role offers the flexibility of part-time or full-time schedules, with a workload primarily based out of their London office, covering central London and Essex.
Key Responsibilities:
Assessing and ensuring compliance with Building Regulations and associated legislation
Conducting detailed site inspections and surveys on various building projects
Providing expert guidance and support to clients, architects, and contractors
Issuing approvals, completion certificates, and relevant documentation
Managing and maintaining accurate records of inspections and compliance
Liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders to facilitate project progress
Delivering timely and professional reports on findings and recommendations
Proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks and non-compliance issues
Job Requirements:
Extensive experience in Building Control
Strong understanding of Building Regulations and construction standards
Relevant qualifications in building surveying or a related discipline
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in preparing detailed technical reports and documentation
Ability to work independently and manage diverse workloads effectively
Capability to travel within central London and Essex as required
Membership with a recognised professional body (e.g., RICS, CABE or CIOB) is advantageous
