Job summary Hedley Atkins is a 24 bedded ward that predominantly cares for patients with oncology malignancies receiving active treatment, palliative and endof life care. We also support patients with haematology malignancies and sickle cell disease. The nursing team prides itself on a cohesive multidisciplinary approach to patient care, striving to provide high clinical standards in a supportiveenvironment. Support on the ward is underpinned by a full-time oncology PDN and the wider management team including the ward manager, deputy managers,matrons and heads of nursing. You will be working with the wider multidisciplinary team in supporting patients receiving chemotherapy, radiotherapy and supportive care. We are looking for enthusiastic, confident, dynamic and motivated experienced nurses with excellent communication skills and experience of oncology and haematology patients who contribute in maintaining highest standards of care whilst demonstrating effective leadership and providing support.
