An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our highly innovative and motivated Development Management Team as our World Heritage Site Coordinator, responsible for coordinating the management of the Ironbridge Gorge World Heritage Site (WHS) and working with all stakeholders to sustain the recognised Outstanding Universal Value.

You will be based in Telford - a destination of vibrant places and experiences where people love to live, work, and play. Sitting in the heart of Shropshire, Telford is the gateway between the Midlands and Wales. Rich in heritage and natural beauty, the borough has a vibrant town centre that’s currently expanding and a 450-acre town park with numerous leisure facilities.
Being part of the Development Management team will ensure you will play a part in the management of the World Heritage Site, helping to protect its heritage and shape its future to remain a safe and sustainable environment for future generations to enjoy.
Our successful applicant will need:
* Experience of partnership working and managing partnership structures.
* Experience of project and financial management delivery.
* Proven experience of identifying and making grant funding applications, fundraising, and marketing.
* Practical experience of working in the Heritage sector.
* A relevant professional accreditation from a conservation body.
