A Global Pharmaceutical Manufacturer are seeking a Production Operator to join the team at their site in Kirklees. The role will predominantly involve the manufacture of APIs and intermediates for pharmaceutical products in line with cGMP standards. This would be an ideal role for a Graduate of Chemistry or Chemical Engineering looking to get started in the pharmaceutical industry, or for an experienced operator looking for a change. Role Overview Initially a 6 month FTC with potential to go permanent. Production of APIs/Intermediates in accordance with SOPs Sampling of products and participation in Root Cause investigations in line with QC Procedures. Maintain high standards in relation to safety and complete all work in line with cGMP Shift Patterns of 12 hour shifts including days/nights/weekends. 4 on 4 off. Requirements Educated to Degree level or equivalent in relevant discipline ( Chemistry or Chemical Engineering) or equivalent experience in a similar environment. Basic IT Skills and the ability to work effectively in a Team Environment. Although no specific previous working experience is required, a working knowledge of cGMP and prior experience in the chemical industry is Highly Advantageous. Must be able to work 12 hour shifts including days/nights/weekends. In return Starting Salary is £25,000 35% shift allowance (£33,750 annual remuneration incl shift allowance) - Higher Starting Salary avilable DOE.
