Location: Acorn House, Slough
Salary: Up to £25,000.00 (Depending on experience)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Full Time)
Shift: Monday – Friday, 9am - 5pm
Position Overview
This role is pivotal to the ongoing high level of financial support provided to the Acorn Group of Companies. The successful applicant will need a strong history in a sales ledger environment and will be responsible for assisting the Group Sales Ledger Manager in all aspects of the sales ledger function.
Diligence, attention to detail, and good communication skills are essential, as well as a high degree of IT literacy, with some experience of systems implementation. They will be able to work on their own initiative and to tight deadlines.
Role & Responsibilities Sales Ledger:
* Creation of invoices and credit notes
* Reporting on sales invoicing totals
* Uploading invoices and credit notes to the Finance system and reconciling to the CAFM system
* Carrying out credit checks
* Creating new client accounts in the CAFM and the Finance system
* Providing statements for operational managers
* Balance and complete month end reports
* Credit note analysis
* Contract administration
* Assisting in credit control function
* Assisting with statement reconciliation
* Cash allocation and reconciliation
* Assisting with general accounting tasks as directed
Qualifications
AAT qualified (minimum level 3)
