We have vacancies for permanent, full and part-time opportunities for Staff Nurses within our Bed-based services at Springview, Wirral on Brackendale, Brooklands and Riverwood wards.
Bed based services comprise of wards that cater for acute admissions, Psychiatric Intensive Care, Eating Disorder Inpatient Services and Rehabilitation Inpatient Services. You would be required to work on a rotational shift basis, which includes days and nights.
Main duties of the job
You will be part of a supportive multi-disciplinary team and have an ethos of collaborative working between individual service users, carers and other stakeholders.

* Excellent communicator verbally and in terms of written work.
* Well developed research based knowledge and practical nursing skills.
* An understanding of basic management principles is essential as the post will involve taking charge of the service occasionally.
* Ability to work unsupervised.
* A positive approach towards use of information technology.
Experience
Essential
* 1st level mental health trained nurse, with up to date knowledge of current mental health legislation.
* Experience of working with adults with a Learning Disability.
Desirable
* Experience of carrying out clinical supervision.
