Pioneer Educational Trust is looking for inspiring, optimistic and pioneering people to join our shared services team. Currently, our Pioneer schools are Desborough College, Foxborough Primary School, Trevelyan Middle School and Upton Court Grammar School.
We are looking for someone who has the appropriate personal characteristics, experience, knowledge and skills to support Pioneer's Local Committees by providing clerking support and advising on governance, procedural matters. As well as offering advice and guidance on all aspects of governance, you will ensure the efficient functioning of the Local Committees by:
* Providing administrative and organisational support, including convening and attending meetings and taking minutes;
* Providing guidance to ensure that the Local Committees work in compliance with the appropriate legal and regulatory framework and understands the potential consequences for non-compliance.
* Providing effective communication;
* Providing advice on procedural matters relating to the operation of the Local Committees;
* Supporting the induction of new governors.
Location: Hybrid - on site at Pioneer schools and remote
You would need to commit to working 180 hours over the year; 160 hours will be for clerking duties and the remainder would be for ad hoc advice, support and additional meetings.
Training and support will be provided for the successful candidate.
