Summary of role You will be responsible for managing a small team of Customer Engagement Advisors based in our Birmingham office. You will build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, identifying and influencing decision-makers to secure new business opportunities to maximise the BT Group Apprenticeship Fund. Responsibilities You will lead, mentor, and develop a small team of Customer Engagement Advisors, ensuring they have the knowledge, skills, and support to perform at their best. Set clear objectives, monitoring the team’s performance and providing ongoing feedback to achieve the departments targets. Proactively build and maintain relationships with key partner organisations that support SMEs, including business networks, industry associations, and local enterprise groups. Help raise awareness and drive engagement with eligible businesses by promoting the BT Group Apprenticeship Fund. Secure new business opportunities through prospecting via multiple channels such as phone calls and social media, driving both immediate and long-term growth to meet your own individual targets and KPI’s. Conducting market research to understand SME market trends and issues that are pertinent to the SME marketplace. Skills and Experiences Minimum of 12 months experience working in a business development or sales role. Minimum of 12 months experience of managing accounts whilst meeting or exceeding targets & KPI’s. Experience of managing and coaching sales advisors in a call centre or customer service environment.
