Role: Indirect Procurement Manager (HR & Proffesional Services)
Salary: Up to £80K + Excellent Benefits
Location: Hybrid Birmingham (2 days p/w on site)
Are you an Indirect Procurement Manager - with experience of business partnering, as well as delivery of complex end to end sourcing projects across the breadth of the HR & Pro Services category?
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to play a key part in the development of a Greenfield Procurement function, alongside a newly appointed Head of Procurement, for a PE backed Tech firm.
Role:
Key to your success in this role will be the ability to develop key stakeholder relationships with the HR, Finance and Op's community, positioning Procurement as a "value-add" business partner. Ultimately, you will be tasked with driving commercial value across a broad range of business critical Indirect Procurement projects - supporting the organisation's ambitious growth plan.
You will need to:
1. Be commercially astute, financially literate and legally competent to negotiate contracts
2. Have strong influencing skills and leadership, with the gravitas to negotiate credibly with suppliers and engage with the executive management team
3. Be results driven with a track record of achievement while adaptable in the face of adversity
Experience:
4. HR & Professional Services Procurement & Category Management experience
5. Skills to influence and drive effective change in a fast paced environment
6. Self-motivation, tenacity, and a focus on delivery
7. Gravitas, the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels
8. Degree qualified.
