Purchasing Clerk / Administrator
Location: Merthyr Tydfil
Employer: Optime Group on behalf of a well-respected client
What’s on Offer:
* Hourly Rate: £11.44 per hour
* Schedule: 4 days a week (Monday to Thursday)
* Hours: 9:00am to 3:00pm (flexible hours possible with agreement)

Main Purpose of the Role:
* Purchasing hardware, glass, timber, and other supplies essential for production.
* Delivering high-quality customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Requesting and processing quotations for production line supplies.
* Placing purchase orders with various suppliers.
* Keeping accurate purchase records.
* Providing weekly reports to the Managing Director.
* Performing general housekeeping duties.
* Maintaining quality standards.
Key Objectives:
* Meeting targets to fulfill customer demands and deadlines.
* Upholding company quality standards.
* Demonstrating flexibility and teamwork to enhance efficiency and meet business needs.
Skills & Competencies:
* Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
* Proficient in interpreting company documents.
* Basic knowledge of Excel, Outlook, and Word.
* Positive attitude, flexibility, and willingness to take on responsibilities.
