But your approach is just as important – we need talented people who can work with others and who want to make a difference Join our Cornwall Housing team for the career opportunities… and stay for the community About the role You will ensure that CHL's 107 private drainage systems are all fully compliant, ensuring CHL complies with the requirements of the Environmental Permitting Regulations and all other relevant legislation. You will be responsible for the ongoing compliance review of all private drainage infrastructure assets, and any associated remedial action required to remain complaint with the regulations and associated waste regulations. You will do this by ensuring that all day-to-day repairs, cyclical and planned programme works delivered by external contractors are delivered to all CHL premises in full compliance with current regulations. You will ensure that CHL’s Housing Management Systems accurately report on compliance in “real time” and that reports are clear to understand, evidence compliance and identify any required actions. About you To be successful, you’ll have: Proven knowledge of current environmental compliance regulations. Successful and consistent achievement in the delivery of property compliance related services at a supervisory level. Proven knowledge and experience of contract management, risk management and health and safety requirements. Sound understanding of procurement processes and financial management. Experience and competent in carrying out on-site spot checks, WIP and post QC audit checks for existing and new contracts, to evidence full compliance with current regulations, works specification and contract documentation. A track record of successfully working with external bodies to achieve project specific aims and objectives. Experience of building relationships with regulatory bodies, external auditors and contractors. Proven experience of community engagement and developing partnership working, building effective relationships and enhancing the reputation of CHL with residents, stakeholders and partners.
