We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Children's Home Manager to lead a residential care team in Cardiff. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of the children's home, ensuring a safe, caring, and positive environment for all residents. Lead, manage, and motivate the care team, ensuring high standards of care and compliance with regulatory requirements. Develop and implement individual care plans that meet the physical, emotional, and social needs of each child. Ensure the home meets all CIW standards and regulations, striving for outstanding ratings in inspections. Manage budgets effectively, ensuring resources are allocated appropriately to meet the needs of the home and its residents. Build and maintain strong relationships with external agencies, including social services, healthcare professionals, and education providers. Uphold safeguarding procedures and practices, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all children in your care.Requirements: Level 5 in Health and Social Care (Children and Young People) or equivalent qualification. Proven leadership experience in a children's residential care setting. Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, including CIW standards and safeguarding procedures. Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills.
