We have a great team in place who are passionate about their work and we are looking to appoint a 0.8 FTE Senior Lecturer in Counselling and Psychotherapy to join us, who will strengthen our professional discipline and take a strategic lead role in the Directorate. In this role, you will work with us to create the professionals of the future and contribute to the growth of Counselling and Psychotherapy in the University. We successfully train and develop students for careers in the modern world and our students regularly gain employment in their speciality on graduation. You will develop and deliver high quality education at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and undertake high quality research and enterprise. You will have the opportunity to develop your career within an innovative, progressive, and supportive environment with a range of opportunities for leadership development. You should have significant experience of leading and teaching in higher education and have the equivalent professional clinical experience. There would also be an expectation that you have links with industry partners, or are willing to develop them, strengthening our profile. You must have a master’s degree in a relevant subject, relevant professional registration, a supervision qualification and hold, or be willing to study for, a PhD.
